At Rocketship Public Schools, we are unleashing potential. The Position The Campus Operations Coordinator will work under the direction and supervision of the campus principal. This position is responsible for supporting the process of the day-to-day operations at the school site in areas including arrival, lunch, recess, dismissal, and physical space. Furthermore, the Campus Operations Coordinator is also responsible for serving as on-site IT contact, including managing IT assets and assisting staff with IT issues as able.

Fulfill core Operations Specialist responsibilities, including all of the following:

Supervise and monitor students during key essential systems: arrival, lunch, recess, dismissal, physical space

Implement all site rules and safety regulations within the structure of the Rocketship student culture

Utilize appropriate disciplinary procedures and techniques in accordance with the school site discipline plan

Manage the physical space of the building with the Operations Specialist

Assume a leadership role within the broader Operations Specialist team. Including all of the following responsibilities:

Serve as the "team leader" among the Operations Specialists. This could include responsibilities such as daily oversight, coaching, and/or supervision of safety protocols

Co-create with the campus principal effective and efficient schoolwide systems (arrival, lunch, recess & dismissal, etc.) that include iAuditor expectations

Assist the campus principal in fulfilling staff Ops Requests and other procurement needs

Model and support a strong culture within the the Ops Specialist team

Collaborate with the campus principal & Regional Operations Manager with designing new processes and procedures to increase efficiency at the school site

Partner with the Principal to respond to emergencies and create school safety procedures and compliance, including training and running safety drills.

Design and present professional development to the Operations Specialist and entire campus as needed

Manage student transportation services ensuring the safety of students to and from school

Support the logistical, compliance, and technology side of administration of Rocketship's assessments, including NWEA MAP and state tests, and health screenings like hearing and vision.

Serve as on-site IT contact, including managing IT assets and assisting staff with IT issues as able.

Qualifications:

Intermediate skills with Google Suite and email correspondence

Commitment to Rocketship's mission, vision and goals

Passion for working with children

Previous experience managing and/or teaching groups of elementary-age students

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and work closely with a wide range of staff members

Ability to learn laws, rules, practices, and procedures related to public education and specific to Rocketship Public Schools Texas

Flexibility and willingness to learn

Compensation

Compensarion: $20-$25/hour

Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
