    This role provides support to The People Office, accounting, finance and operations teams and reports to the firm's Controller.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Handle the Payroll process end to end including off-cycle processing for bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll
    • Manage payroll files and other record keeping items; process, post and edit new hires
    • Provide assistance with troubleshooting and resolving employee pay questions/discrepancies
    • Upload payroll journal entries and ensure that General Ledger coding is accurate
    • Account reconciliation for payroll processed deductions
    • Reviewing and processing of State Tax payments
    • State registrations for payroll tax accounts
    • Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
    • Analyze current workflow processes and offer up improvement suggestions

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or related field
    • 3-5 years of experience in multi-state Payroll role
    • Ideally, competency working with UKG payroll system, PlanSource, and NetSuite.
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Good listening and communication skills
    • Willing to grow and take on additional responsibilities when needed and support other team members

    Pay Transparency: Pathstone's expected starting base compensation range for the position as of the time of this posting is $65,000 - $70,000 per year. The actual base compensation selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to) experience, education, specialty and training. The successful candidate(s) may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus award.
