    The Project Manager should have solid fundamental working knowledge of Project Management. They are responsible for creation, organization, execution, and completion of specific IT related projects from concept and integration through implementation.

    Over the course of a project, the Project Manager will need to communicate with staff and clients, make decisions and monitor the progress of the project to keep it on schedule.

    What you'll do:
    • You will create long and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines and allocating resources.
    • You will delegate tasks on the project to employees and partners best positioned to complete them.
    • You will identify and manage potential risks/liabilities of multiple projects and engage management as required.
    • You will assist in the definition of project scope and goals as solutions are being developed.
    • You will make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
    • You will serve as the point of contact for teams when multiple organizations are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
    • You will communicate with management to keep the project aligned with their goals.
    • You will perform quality control on the project from development through completion to maintain the standards expected.
    • You will adjust schedules and targets on the project as needed.
    What you'll bring:
    • You have Business or Technical degree from an accredited college or university
    • You have a minimum of 5 years experience in Project Management or leading projects and programs in a technical role for Government or Industry customers.
    • You have an exceptional understanding of the Project Management Institute (PMI) framework.
    • You have PMP Certification or qualified to acquire.
    • You have in depth knowledge of various project management methodologies including Waterfall and Agile
    • You have experience creating Project Plans and Schedules
    • You understand and have experience tracking and managing project costs and coordinating with internal accounting staff to approve vendor bills and direct customer invoices
    • You have cost and risk management skills
    • You can accommodate occasional business travel
