Are you a Licensed Audiologist looking to take on an assessment role?
Would you find it rewarding to serve the Veteran community?
We are seeking an Audiologist to conduct medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
The Veteran submits the claim before meeting you. All their medical records are uploaded into a computer portal for your review during the appointment. Tasks include administering a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test, as well as completing a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the computer portal. This documentation forms the medical evidence that aids the VA in determining the veteran's benefits.
The Audiologist will not provide medical treatments or devices.
This role involves reviewing and assessing an average of 3-6 Veterans per day.
Schedule: 1 day per week
This is an IN-PERSON position offering 1 to 1.5 hours per patient. No evening shifts, on-call duties, weekend work, or involvement in hearing aid sales.
