    ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.

    Assist the surgical team in accomplishing the plan of surgical care.

    Knowledgable of sterile technique, sterilization procedures, principles of surgical procedures, basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology, surgical instruments and equipment, and use of anesthetic agents.

    Prepare the operating room for pre-assigned cases using physician preference. QualificationsJob RequirementsPossess an accredited Surgical Technologist Certification OR be willing and eligible to obtain it within the first six months of employmentHigh School Diploma or equivalentActive BLS certificationPreferred Job Requirements1-year of Labor and Delivery Surgical Technologist experience
