    Pay Grade/Pay Range: 55 Hourly (non-exempt) – $15.00 – $18.81

    Department/Organization: 505171 – Supply Store – Ferguson

    Normal Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm; some weekends & extended hours

    Job Summary: Under general supervision, performs a variety of specialized or technical accounting support services following established procedures.

    Additional Department Summary: The Accounting Assistant invoices electronically in the computerized accounting system. Completes payment of SupeStore invoices and credits that are sent to Accounts Payable. Maintains "Received Not Invoiced" and outstanding invoices in the computerized accounting system. Assists with cash control functions.

    Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of accounting or bookkeeping experience; OR an Associate's degree and one (1) year of accounting or bookkeeping experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with some accounting or bookkeeping experience.

    Skills and Knowledge: Basic computer skills. Ability to use a 10-key calculator. Good communications skills, both written and oral. Familiar with Windows, Excel and Word. Ability to multi-task.

    Preferred Qualifications: Accounting Degree.
