    Komatsu Longview Operations builds the world's largest front-end loader and we are currently recruiting a Quality Inspector in Longview, Texas to support receiving inspection.

    Receiving, in-process & final inspection (including dimensional inspection) of raw materials, manufactured parts, & fabricated structures per the requirements of applicable drawings, specifications, procedures & work instructions using dimensional measuring tools such as scales, rules, micrometers, calipers, etc.

    Prepares & maintains documentation such as Nonconformance Reports (NCR), Nondestructive Testing (NDT) reports, dimensional inspection reports, calibration reports, & other reports as needed.

    Requires the ability to check documents for accuracy and applicability.
    Requires knowledge of basic calibration requirements and proper use and maintenance of inspection tools.

    Two years of inspection or machining experience.
    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, scanners and copiers.
    Background in fabrication/welding a plus.
    Ability to read, analyze, & interpret general business documents.
    Experience with dimensional mechanical measuring tools such as micrometers & calipers.
    Knowledge of receiving, in-process and final inspection processes and procedures.
    Preferred - SNT-TC-1A Level II Certification in VT, MT and/or UT NDT methods of inspection.
    Preferred - Experience operating powered industrial trucks.
    Preferred - Working knowledge or experience in NDT methods of inspection such as MT, VT, UT, UTT, AUT, RT, PT, or BLT
    Preferred - Qualified to use both Brinell and Rockwell hardness testing machines
