Job Description:

An employer in Biloxi, MS is looking for an Operations Engineer - Civil, to join their team in support of a federal contract the have over the next 7 years. In this role you will be responsible for:

Overall responsible for the maintenance and management of all asphalt, pavement, roadways, etc. on the Air Force Base and main responsibility is to create 10-year plans for the overall maintenance and management of these assets.

They will be expected to participate in smaller design projects when needed for the certain asphalts and pavements.

Evaluates projects to determine the most appropriate and economical systems to serve a

facility.

Reviews construction documents: plans, specs, code book, etc.

Participates in final on-site inspection.

Performs contract related services such as writing scope of work, site surveys, contractor

selection, negotiations, construction performance monitoring, product design, design review

of internal and external A/E designs, and evaluation, inspection and acceptance of bids.

Prepares detailed reports on the work being done on site.
