    Location: Reston, Virginia (Hybrid)

    Reports to: Owner

    Muller is a full-service site work contractor based in Northern Virginia. Our unique technology and systems-driven approach has led us to become a leading provider of sustainable civil construction services throughout Maryland, Virginia, and DC.

    As a successful construction business, our IT operations is growing. We are in search of a full-time professional who will lead and manage IT projects and ensure seamless implementation. The ideal candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT Department, develop, and execute IT strategies aligned with organizational goals and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

    Responsibilities:

    • Proactively manage IT infrastructure security for entire organization.
    • Management internal help desk ticketing system, response time and quality of responses to ensure our team members are being treated like valued clients.
    • Minimize down time of team members.
    • Coordinate with HR to manage IT on-boarding process for new team members including preparing new laptops and phones.
    • Send out weekly IT email to entire company with best practices and helpful tips to improve production and efficiency.
    • Make recommendations on IT project priorities to owner.
    • Work with owner on special IT projects as they arise.
    • Act as admin for 3rd party SAAS providers and setup new users including permissions.
    • Maintain accurate inventory log of all IT equipment.
    • Manage organization phone, Internet, and PC vendor accounts and structure for pricing & service efficiency.
    • Recommend and approve annual IT budget.
    • Make recommendations on internal and external resources/contractors needed.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Network Administration: Proficiency in designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance.
    • SonicWall Firewall Knowledge: Experience in configuring and managing SonicWall firewall systems to safeguard the network against potential threats and ensure secure data transmission.
    • SharePoint Online Management: Ability to oversee and administer SharePoint Online, enabling efficient collaboration, document management, and workflow automation.
    • General IT Security Knowledge: Understanding and application of best practices in IT security, encompassing threat detection, incident response, and risk mitigation strategies.
    • Azure Proficiency: Experience with Azure services and management, including cloud infrastructure, security, and policy configuration.
