    Licensed Practical Nurse

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a licensed medical professional cross-trained to perform routine administrative and clinical tasks under direct physician supervision in accordance with state medical practice acts.

    Essential Duties/Responsibilities:


    • Measures patient vital signs; records interview, medical history etc., catalogues communicates needs to the PCP,Clinician,Specialist

    • Prepares patients for examinations assists physician explains treatment procedures physicians instructions

    • Observes reports changes in patient conditions

    • Performs non-critical medical therapeutic procedures based on MD Instructions. Collects phlebotomy lab specimens performs basic waived tests

    • Maintains supplies equipment stocks sterilizes instruments practices OSHA safety standards documents accurately legally ethically at all times

    • Fulfils prescriptions follow ChenMed Rx system also supports health coaching defined group of patients support healthy lifestyle choices follows weekly calls
