    Description

    SUMMARY: Works to create engagement, increase brand awareness, and follows conversations on the internet while interacting with the public in the organizations voice at the same time. The specialist is responsible for monitoring trending topics while finding unique ways to integrate them into the brand. Works on updating and creating marketing materials. Assists with events and will know how to develop relationships with people at events, be able to elaborate on their profile, and motivate on our vast services.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Works with other staff members as a way to further create content and promote our brand, such as Marketing Team members, Life Enrichment Coordinators, Events Manager, and Graphic Designer.
    • Tracks whether or not social marketing efforts have been successful through goal setting and identifying success through various online analytical tools. Other job duties include:
    • Will learn senior living and be able to work with and assist prospects in overcoming objections, educate, and motivate prospects to our services. Works closely with sales/marketing team.
    • Build relationships with and utilize staff within various communities to further learn and speak in the company voice and educate others to do the same.
    • Develop and implement a corporate social media strategy.
    • Monitor online activity across departments, sites, platforms, and geographical areas to ensure anyone using the company's online tools is following established guidelines and best-practice rules.
    • Create posts, display board messages and marketing collateral, while timing posts with other communications like public display boards with consistent messages from website & brochures.
    • Encourage greater social media participation.
    • Identify opportunities to influence public perception through audience engagement and publicly speaking about the brand's social media strategy.
    • Using social media marketing tools to create and maintain the company's brand. Examples: Hootesuite, Tik Tok video creations, Canva, etc.
    • Working with marketing professionals to develop social media marketing campaigns.
    • Create and modify the company's digital marketing plan and social media strategy, identifying strategic weaknesses, and make recommendations for improvements.
    • Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign's performance against the KPIs.
    • Collaborating with designers or copywriters to provide attractive and informative campaigns.
    • Conduct market research inclusive of researching competitors to inform campaigns
    • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
    • Works with the Director to re-assess and develop goals that include but are not limited to the scope of this position description.

    • Follows policy and procedures on annual TB testing.
    • Follows policy and procedures on annual influenza vaccinations.

    Requirements

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS/ABILITIES, WORK EXPERIENCE:

    Knowledge: Knowledge and skills acquired through completion of post secondary education. Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, and Enquire (leads management software) preferred.

    Skills/Abilities:
    • Ability to self-motivate, develop, implement, and achieve comprehensive marketing goals, strategies, and plans.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
    • Proven skills in organizing resources, analyzing and solving problems establishing priorities, and making evaluative judgments.
    • Ability to compile and analyze statistical data, draw inferences, and prepare strategic and operational reports and recommendations.
    • Ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping/data base systems and procedures to measure digital traffic, and monitor social media content on all social media platforms
    • Make group presentations.
    Work Experience: Sales, Marketing and Social media experience or related degrees preferred.

    TRAVEL: Ability and willingness to travel back & forth from St. John's United Campus's in Billings, Laurel & Red Lodge. Candidate must have a valid Montana driver's license and a safe driving record.

    COMPLEXITY/DIFFICULTY:

    This position requires the ability to function independently with full ownership of census outcomes and in performing assigned duties. The incumbent needs to be able to respond to management and staff level employees' needs in a timely and professional manner. Facilitate all aspects of sales and marketing for designated location and assists with other locations. Incumbent performs job tasks following established procedures and reports problems or concerns to supervisor.

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    Normal office setting. Some travel. No hazardous material exposure.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    Requires minimal lifting functions. Requires moderate bending, standing and reaching activities.
