Job Requirements

• Education Requirements: Valid nursing degree (ASN or BSN)
  
• Certifications Requirements: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, BCR (EKG competency exam)
  
• Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years ED RN experience, previous travel experience preferred
  
• Other Requirements: Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, pass EKG competency, strong teamwork skills

Job Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a Level 1 Trauma Designated facility.
  
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, administer drips such as Heparin, Insulin, Dopamine, and Epinephrine, and adjust treatments accordingly.
  
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
  
• Assist with emergency procedures, support patient stabilization, and communicate effectively with patients and families.
  
• Maintain accurate documentation within EPIC EMR and adhere to hospital protocols and standards.
