    Job Summary

    The Room Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and attractiveness of guestrooms while providing exceptional service to all guests. This position requires attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding experience.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain clean and attractive guestrooms according to hotel standards.
    • Complete pre-cleaning duties, including setting up housekeeping carts with necessary supplies.
    • Remove trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
    • Keep public areas, closets, and hallways clean, neat, and vacuumed.
    • Restock cleaning carts for next day's use.
    • Replenish chemical bottles.
    • Report missing items, maintenance repairs, and lost and found items to supervisors or managers.
    • Foster overall guest satisfaction.

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma or equivalent; experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
    • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
    • Capacity to stand during entire shift.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with employees and guests in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
