    The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth Lake Wales

    AdventHealth Lake Wales is a licensed 160-bed hospital with 24-hour emergency care and outpatient services including imaging, rehab, lab, and wound care. It serves the community and surrounding areas.

    Patients have greater access to innovative therapies, new research, leading-edge technology, and an extensive team of medical specialists as part of the AdventHealth network.

    Lake Wales is located in Central Florida between Orlando and Tampa, home to the Historic Bok Tower Gardens and Bird Sanctuary.

    The role you'll contribute:

    You work under supervision to produce quality radiographic images using ionizing radiation. This involves participation in diagnostic technical procedures delivering quality care to patients from neonatal to geriatric.

    You may assist with patient care and patient flow in pain medicine cost centers and perform duties delegated by the RN. You also operate Imaging equipment in a safe manner and adhere to infection control standards.

    The value you'll bring to the team:

    You utilize knowledge and skills for age-specific factors to perform safe and effective procedures on patients of all ages. You operate all imaging equipment, review images, and maintain accurate records.

    You complete assigned exams in a timely manner and keep the workflow coordinator informed of availability and status of pending exams.

    Qualifications:

    Expertise and experiences needed to succeed:

    Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred.

    A current valid State of Florida license as a General Radiographer and ARRT (R) certification are required.
