Job Description

The Float Pharmacist will provide pharmacy dispensing and consultation services to patients and have direct communication with Pharmacy Managers, Store Managers, and/or District Managers.

• Travel to various Sterling Pharmacy locations to assist as a Float Pharmacist
and customer service associates_ receives processes fills checks prescriptions accurately
responds to all patient inquiries in a timely fashion provides best possible service patients adheres policies procedures related pharmacy operations represents Sterling Pharmacy as pharmacist general public professional events collects information billing Medicaid Medicare DME supplies ensures that patients counseled on new prescriptions refills where change therapy or patient condition exists addresses resolves patient employee complaints absence manager performs duties necessary stays current latest information drug therapy side effects completes continuing education requirements Board of Pharmacy maintains CPR certification trains for administering immunizations maintain competency helps PIC encourage support employees engaging marketing material corporate participates expectations Profit Incentive Program complete assigned tasks.
