Job summary
The job involves cleaning and maintaining patient rooms offices public areas treatment rooms and other assigned areas daily including collecting and removing trash changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces.Responsibilities include following policies and procedures on patient isolation contact precautions as necessary stocking paper items supplies in assigned areas as necessary or designated maintaining cart equipment clean working condition storing appropriate storage area promoting safety workplace using wet floor signs PPE not leaving housekeeping cart supplies unattended using chemicals equipment effective safe manner notifying supervisor equipment needing repairs reporting safety hazards manager communicating supervisor any issues inability complete schedule proactive dealing observed deficiencies
Qualifications require ability follow oral written instructions communicate effectively patients visitors staff work independently physical demands required role include liftcarry up to pounds pushpull force up to pounds preferred one three years environmental services experience healthcare hospitality environment.
