    Description

    We are seeking a strategic and technically strong Director of Scheduling to lead scheduling operations for large-scale, mission-critical data center projects across Texas.

    This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing project scheduling standards, managing a team of schedulers, and driving execution strategy across multiple hyperscale builds. The ideal candidate has deep experience in complex MEP-driven construction and fast-track, high-value environments.

    Position Overview

    The Director of Scheduling will establish and oversee scheduling processes across a portfolio of data center projects. This leader will partner with Operations, Project Executives, Superintendents, and clients to ensure accurate forecasting, resource alignment, and risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.

    This role requires both hands-on Primavera expertise and executive-level strategic oversight.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead scheduling strategy for multiple concurrent data center projects
    • Manage and mentor a team of project schedulers
    • Develop and maintain master program schedules and milestone reporting
    • Ensure integration of design, procurement, construction, and commissioning schedules
    • Oversee schedule risk analysis and recovery planning
    • Support preconstruction efforts including phasing and logistics planning
    • Collaborate with Operations and Executive Leadership on forecasting and resource planning
    • Interface directly with owners and stakeholders for executive-level reporting
    • Standardize scheduling best practices across the mission-critical division

    Qualifications

    • 12+ years of commercial construction experience
    • 7+ years of scheduling experience on large-scale projects
    • Extensive data center or mission-critical experience required
    • Expert proficiency in Primavera P6 (required)
    • Strong understanding of MEP sequencing and commissioning processes
    • Experience managing multiple high-value projects ($100M+)
    • Proven leadership experience managing scheduling teams
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
