Job Title: Data Scientist
Location: 596 N Bowser Rd, Richardson, TX 75081 *Hybrid role, 3 days per week on site.

About the role:
As a Data Scientist at Service Experts, you will play a crucial role in interpreting and analyzing large datasets to solve complex problems. You will use a blend of statistical, machine learning, and analytical techniques to develop predictive models and actionable insights that will support our business strategies. This role requires a mix of technical proficiency, a keen analytical mindset, and the ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and actionable manner.
Data Scientist requirements, qualifications & skills:
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs and define projects.
Collect, clean, and preprocess data from diverse sources to prepare it for analysis.
Apply statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling techniques to analyze large datasets and identify trends, correlations, and patterns.
Design, implement, and validate data models and algorithms to solve business problems and drive decision-making.
Interpret and communicate analytical results to non-technical stakeholders through clear visualizations and reports.
Stay abreast of advancements in data science, machine learning, and big data technologies, and incorporate best practices into projects.
Participate in the development of data management and governance policies to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Work closely with IT and data engineering teams to improve data collection and processing methods.
Qualifications:
Masters or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data science role
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and familiarity with SQL and database technologies.
Strong experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn).
Demonstrated experience in using statistical techniques for data analysis and predictive modeling.
Excellent data visualization skills and proficiency with a BI Platform (Power BI preferred).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex problems where analysis of situations requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
