- Create 3D solid models of décor and fixtures
- Create clear and comprehensive production details for use on the shop floor
- Design products with consideration to design intent, function, budget, leadtime, packaging/shipping and installation
- Utilize knowledge of manufacturing methods and materials to help optimize products
- Create client-facing drawings and/or renderings
- Create drawings showing recommended installation methods for products
- Create drawings outlining packaging and crating plans
- Assist with troubleshooting and problem solving production challenges
- Evaluate new and existing products for labor or material improvements
- Complete various duties within project deadlines
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- High degree of ability to think and conceptualize in 3D space
- Expert user of CAD software (AutoDesk Inventor, AutoCAD)
- Intermediate user of Adobe Illustrator, SketchUp and ERP software preferred
- Mathematic skills for problem solving
- Time and project management skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and architectural drawings
- Ability to identify and help develop solutions to potential production or installation issues
- Knowledge of material properties, and general construction and manufacturing methods using woods, metals and plastics
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent
- Drafting Certificate of Completion or Associate of Applied Science Degree
- 2 years CAD drafting experience in related industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Description
Collaborate with our teams of talented design and production professionals to help bring our clients' retail spaces to life. King Retail Solutions designs, manufactures and installs signage, décor and fixtures for retail spaces using a variety of materials, including wood, metal and plastics. The Detailer is an integral part of our Client Services team, bringing creative designs from concept to completion through creation of solid models, renderings and shop drawings.
Work closely with Estimating, Account Managers, Planners, Factory, and Design to create accurate details. Use CAD programs, PDF tools, ERP software and Corel type software. Focus on producing factory production details while working with assigned client-based team members.
The Detailer works onsite at our corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility in Eugene, Oregon and works 7:30am-4pm Monday-Friday with occasional overtime as needed.
