    Description
    NIRA Inc, a fast-growing women-owned small business, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a major FAA program.

    Individual needs to demonstrate the ability to work within a team to resolve issues and present solutions to senior leadership.

    This position requires strong analytical skills, thorough understanding of financial and project management aspects, ability to collect and combine information from multiple sources to create a comprehensive picture of the project, collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.


    Major Responsibilities include:
    Prepare a complete range of cost analysis and cost management services that include, but are not limited to, program cost and price analysis, cost planning, budget development, detailed cost estimating through the planning and execution phases, proposal price analysis, and data management to support program manager and team leads to make decisions;Analyze project requirements and prepare budget estimates and other cost estimates for all phases of project development and execution; ensuring that cost estimates are prepared by using standard formats institutionalized by the Program Office;Support Budget Formulation efforts and prepare documents such as RPDs, CIP updates and CIT briefs, PLA documents, and other business and financial planning data and documentation;Provide inputs for various briefings and data calls

    Qualifications:
    Skills in acquisition strategy, budget monitoring, contract evaluation, cost management, and contract management, and an understanding of accounting techniques, including budget development and program cost control, contractor price formulation, and contract proposal price breakdowns;Knowledge of cost models; detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to organize and manage complex models; high-level proficiency with spreadsheets, reports, and other cost estimating software;Ability to plan, coordinate, and prioritize assignments and workload, execute tasks, and meet deadlines;Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing;Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment;Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance;Must be living in the US three out of last five years;Local in the DMV area;At least 9 years of relevant work experience;Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Engineer, or related disciplines is required

    Desired Knowledge/ Skills:
    Experience with the FAA Investment Analysis process;Prior experience in the preparation of Federal Government IGCE and the lifecycle costs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
