    Cashier/Crew Member Job Description

    A Crew Member, or Restaurant Staff, plays a vital role in ensuring seamless customer service and efficient restaurant operations. Their primary responsibilities include interacting with customers, processing orders, and maintaining a clean workspace.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Serving customers promptly and courteously
    • Providing assistance to new team members during their onboarding process
    • Contributing to achieving sales targets within a team setting
    • Maintaining adherence to the company's security and safety protocols
    • Arriving punctually for shifts and completing all tasks diligently
    • Taking orders from customers at the counter
    • Handling payments and presenting change
    • Packing food items, brewing coffee, and preparing beverages
    • Serving as the host/hostess of the restaurant
    • Managing reservations for customers
    • Processing food checks from servers or customers
    • De-escalating conflicts with frustrated customers, especially during peak hours
    • Operating the register, including credit card and cash transactions
    • Ensuring accurate register balances at the end of each shift

    The estimated salary for this position is $12-$15 per hour, depending on location and experience.
