    The Payroll Specialist Process all aspects of employee and partner payrolls for multiple offices in various states.
    Prepare full-cycle bi-weekly and monthly payrolls for non-exempt and exempt employees via UKG
    Prepare monthly and quarterly partnership distributions via UltiPro/UKG and partner management system (Access database)
    Prepare month-end reporting for various departments and service providers
    Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual federal, state and local employer tax returns for professional corporations
    Prepare and analyze annual compliance auditing
    Understand proper taxation of payroll transactions
    Monthly account reconciliations
    Reconcile payroll tax reports
    Resolve and respond to payroll-related questions
    Execute vendor feeds related to payroll processing
    Process correct garnishment calculations and compliance
    Prepare EFTs for payroll funding and payroll tax returns
    Review quarterly profit sharing and 401k match true-up calculations
    Respond to verifications of employment
    Maintain partner database including tracking sabbaticals
    Manage payroll activities for professional corporations of the firm
    Special projects as necessary

    None.

    Job Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certification):
    At least - 7 years of payroll experience and Bachelor's Degree in related field; or 9-11 years of payroll experience and a High School diploma
    Maintain confidentiality and respect of sensitive information
    Great organizational skills and ability to prioritize, multitask and work independently to meet strict deadlines
    Working knowledge of payroll best practices
    Advanced Microsoft skills (Microsoft Excel, Access, Outlook and Word; imports).
    Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations
    Excellent customer service and response time
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    UKG experience strongly preferred
    Certified Payroll Professional preferred
    Law firm experience preferred

    Physical Requirements:


    While performing the duties of this position, the employee must have the ability to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time; manipulate (lift, carry, move) weights of at least ten (10) pounds; have repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to work on a computer and/or related office equipment; speak clearly and concisely so listeners can understand; and regularly understand the speech of another person.

    Colorado Salary Range - $ $50.00 per hour.

    A discretionary bonus may be available based upon performance.
