Maintenance Supervisor

2 openings 2nd and 3rd shift.

The Maintenance Supervisor supervises, and coordinates activities of workers engaged in maintaining and repairing equipment and systems by performing the following duties:

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• · Oversees workers who maintain and fix equipment like motors, pumps, conveyors, and packaging machinery.
• · Orders tools, equipment, and supplies.
• · Checks completed work to ensure it matches blueprints and standards.
• · Reviews production schedules to estimate how many workers are needed for tasks.
• · Sets or adjusts work methods to meet production timelines.
• · Explains company rules to workers and ensures safety rules are followed.
• · Proposes changes to improve efficiency and working conditions.
• · Solves work issues or helps workers solve them.
• · Plans ways to motivate workers to meet goals.
• · Talks with other supervisors to coordinate department activities.
• · Enters accurate data into maintenance computer programs.
• · Suggests which parts to keep in stock or remove.
• · Follows all safety rules and works safely.
• · Can work weekends or different shifts if needed.
• · Performs any other tasks as assigned.

Education & Experience Required:

• · High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required.
• · 2 years of related food manufacturing experience and/or training, required.
• · Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
