- Collaborate with Information Technology professionals to ensure proper infrastructure components are available and working as designed for projects or operations.
- Provide leadership and subject matter expertise in the administration, maintenance, and support of backend systems supporting application development, security, and desktop infrastructure.
- Direct and manage the workload of team members and oversee oncall support functions for the operations team.
- Work closely with IT professionals to ensure technical components are available for projects and functioning properly.
- Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed updates or new services.
- Project for possible challenges and constraints, including risks, time, resources, and scope changes.
- Monitor project progress, provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions, and define clear goals for project execution.
- Provide thirdlevel technical support for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), monitoring tools, multifactor authentication, storage and backup, PowerShell scripting, and customized offtheshelf applications.
- Subject Matter Expert in Microsoft Services, including Active Directory (AD) services (ADFS, Group Policy, Distributed File Services), Azure subscriptions, DHCP, and networking protocols and services.
- Highlevel understanding of networking protocols and network connectivity.
- Expertlevel troubleshooting skills with a focus on improving performance and stability of backend services.
- Experience leading project teams, providing technical best practices, and serving as the lead technical support for various projects and systems.
