    Description
    Human Resource Dimensions has been retained to place a Process Engineer for a commercial leader in advanced recycling technology located in Atlanta, GA. The Process Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient production processes to improve productivity and quality. Their expertise will be instrumental in optimizing operations and ensuring the successful implementation of new processes and technologies.

    Responsibilities:
    • Analyze existing production processes to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to implement process improvements and resolve issues.
    • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production processes and equipment.
    • Design and implement equipment modifications to improve performance and reliability.
    • Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot process issues, recommending and implementing corrective actions.
    • Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other data analysis techniques to monitor and control process variables.
    • Identify opportunities for automation and implement technologies to streamline production processes.
    • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations in process design and implementation.
    • Coordinate and collaborate with vendors and suppliers to evaluate and select equipment and materials for process improvements.
    • Train production personnel on new processes and equipment and provide ongoing support and guidance.

    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Process Engineer or in a similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of production processes, including but not limited to, manufacturing, assembly, and quality control.
    • Proficiency in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
    • Experience with process simulation software and familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • Project management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
    • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing processes.
    • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on driving operational excellence.
    • Willingness to stay current with industry trends and advancements in process engineering.
