WAGE RANGE*:
$56-62/hr.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose:

As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading transmission, distribution, or interconnection projects. This involves running meetings, documenting notes, resolving conflicts, and finding solutions.

To oversee a specific portfolio of projects and/or project team within one area, you need to secure and manage project resources effectively. The goal is to ensure that projects are completed meeting stakeholder requirements, staying within budget, and causing minimal operational disruption.

At a higher level, you will be directing and coordinating all project or program activities within one area or of one type across the organization. The aim is to ensure that major project activities are completed on time and within budget.

Key Accountabilities:

- Monitor and control allocated project resources to ensure timely and budget-friendly project deliveries.

- Implement project tracking mechanisms to provide updates on project progress to senior management and key stakeholders promptly.

- Identify potential conflicts in resource utilization and project scheduling, proposing solutions to overcome obstacles.

- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to share best practices and identify new projects.

- Oversee the project team's workload to ensure efficient project delivery as per the agreed schedule.

- Challenge existing project processes, technologies, and systems to drive efficiencies and achieve business objectives.

- Lead, motivate, and develop project resources to ensure results align with expectations and objectives.

- Maintain project documentation accurately for review and regulatory purposes.

- Possess solid knowledge of project management fundamentals and practices, operational systems, company policies, and procedures, along with strong MS Office and project management software skills.

Minimum of a Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience is required, along with up to 7 years of project management experience, preferably in implementing large-scale changes in a customer-focused organization.
