- Manage nursing services, monitor activities, communicate policies, and oversee performance
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of equipment and work areas
- Conduct regular assessments, monitor care activities, and communicate with residents and families
- Ensure compliance with residents' rights and regulatory standards
- Monitor staff relations, maintain high morale, and ensure staff retention
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility quality standards
- Develop positive relationships with regulators, families, and the community
- Coordinate meetings, attend committees, and participate in staff development
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and CPR Certified
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interpret long term care regulations
- Ability to build relationships, distribute information, and implement rules and regulations
- Positive interaction with residents, families, and regulators
