    As a 2024 FIS University Program full-time employee, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, community service activities, professional development seminars and work with a team that is invested in your growth, development, and success; including bi-annual performance connects with your manager.

    This two-year full-time program has start dates in January, March, June, and September with a dedicated "Learning Week" where you will:

    • Learn how to work within a corporate environment
    • Learn about the exciting world of Fintech and the role FIS plays
    • Hear from FIS leadership about their journey and participate in senior leader networking opportunities
    • Build a network of your peers from across the organization

    This position is for a June 24, 2024 start.

    About the team

    The Managed Service team is a group of dynamic, knowledgeable, and collaborative individuals that use their Business and technology understanding to provide day to day solutions and support for multiple key systems within the FIS Capital Markets world. This team of IT professionals is in charge of designing, testing and implementing very complex functionalities within their respective system by leveraging all the expertise in FIS's cutting-edge technology and day to day financial concepts

    What you will be doing

    The ideal candidate can work well with cross functional teams to understand key functionalities within our systems and will be able to communicate decisions effectively across our global teams.

    • Utilize deep rooted financial concepts to provide elegant functions for our financial systems.
    • Learn new technical concepts and how our applications utilize them.
    • Help research new up and coming technology that can help improve our systems.
    • Assesses risks of various solutions and prioritize competing business demands.
    • Coordinate project delivery by participating in design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate designs and validate proposed solutions.
    • Design Test plans to further validate new functions or improvements on existing functions.
    • Collaborate with relationship managers, business development, Daily Support teams, QA teams, Operations teams, and even direct clients.
    • Participates in Functionality Testing, Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing, document test cases and results.
    • Follows change management process regarding change deployment.
    • Leverage subject-matter-experts across the organization to improve your skills and become an independent contributor.

    What you bring

    • Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Fluent in English; Strong written and communication skills
    • Adaptability, a drive to learn, and strong problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work well independently and within a team

    Added bonus if you have

    • Experience with SQL queries and data structures
    • Experience with Windows and Linux Operating Systems command
    • Basic knowledge of Java / Object-Oriented Programming
    • Shell scripting, Powershell/cmd experience
    • Experience with Financial/Fin Tech Industry (Knowledge of Derivatives or OTC trading would be a great plus)
    • Advanced skills in Excel
