    Job Title: National Account Manager

    Reports to: Director National Accounts

    Direct Reports: None

    Job Summary: As a member of our National Account sales team, you will sell unit load products and solutions including, but not limited to, pallets, lumber, packaging films, tapes, strapping, corner board, and packaging machinery in a consultative, professional, and highly competitive sales environment. This includes creating primary market demand for Millwood products and services by prospecting, cold calling, and educating corporate decision makers on the value of Millwoods unit load products and solutions. SALARY PLUS COMMISSION

    Responsibilities:

    Target, contact, and develop new business opportunities with companies whose purchasing decisions are typically controlled through a central/corporate source

    Follow up on leads generated through other Millwood channels (trade shows, website, Regional Sales Team)

    Develop and present proposals that address each potential customers defined needs

    Negotiate pricing for all products and services with new and existing direct accounts

    Maintain and expand revenue and profitability with existing accounts

    Manage and resolve product, service, and (when necessary) accounts payable issues with customers

    Document all activity in Salesforce

    Work closely with Regional Account Managers to service National Account customers

    Collaborate with Sourcing, Management, and Customer Service to complete and submit RFI and RFPs for prospective and current customers

    Represent MWI at Industry Trade Shows, as assigned

    Develop and achieve annual sales and profitability plans

    Manage the customer base with integrity and in accordance with all other Millwood policies

    Requirements:

    Documented experience in outside sales / territory management

    Entrepreneurial attitude towards new business development

    Proven strong analytic and problem solving capabilities

    Required travel within the territory over 50% of the time, travel defined as in person meetings or interactions with customers and/or vendors

    Ability to work with cross functional departments

    Availability for overnight travel, to corporate meetings, events; or as required

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

    Self-motivated and goal driven with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail

    Documented communication skills; both verbal and written

    Valid Drivers license, and the ability to rent a car

    Strong basic math skills

    Preferred:

    4-year Bachelors Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration

    5+ years of successful, proven outside sales experience

    5+ years of Industrial sales experience

    Pallet, Lumber, and/or Packaging Industry experience

    Experience with Salesforce
