    HDR currently has an opening for a Water Resources EIT/Designer to join our outstanding team of professionals in our San Antonio or Austin,Texas office.

    The primary duties of the Water Resources EIT/ Designer include working under project engineers on a variety of engineering planning, design and modeling tasks in the development of water resource project deliverables for federal, state and local municipal clients.

    Primary ResponsibilitiesIn the role ofWater Resources EIT/Coordinator, we'll count on you to:

    Apply Technical skills and sound judgement to support complex projects and multiple variables Specific duties include: data collection and assessment, field reconnaissance, hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, design of stormwater and civil infrastructure, and developing planning level cost estimates Typical projects include: 1D and 2D hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and design for flood mitigation, drainage master plans, water quality, erosion mitigation, stream restoration, dams and reservoirs, and transportation drainage projects.

    Candidate will produce design calculations, perform analyses and design in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software and GIS/CAD, and perform construction administration for water resources projects.

    Candidate will also help prepare draft technical memorandums andreports, and public/client presentations.
