    Salary Range: $ $62.00

    Pay Info: $20,000 sign-on bonus

    About the Team


    The Skilled Rehab and Home Health team at Good Samaritan Grand Island and Hastings is on the lookout for a passionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic group. This full-time role hours per week, M-F) offers flexibility with weekdays, weekends, and holidays. You will cover Skilled Nursing Facilities and home health clients in the surrounding area.

    We treat a variety of conditions including:

    • Orthopedic issues
    • Weakness
    • Balance, falls, and gait problems
    • Cervical and back pain
    • General deconditioning

    New graduates are welcome We currently have 1 full-time PT and 2 full-time PTAs, and we're excited to find a candidate who will complement our team. Plus, we offer paid travel and mileage for home health visits

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan, organize, and deliver effective physical therapy programs to help clients recover and improve mobility.
    • Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations for clients affected by injury or disease.
    • Utilize various tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions safely.
    • Document client information accurately and establish therapeutic plans, modifying them as necessary.
    • Educate clients and their families about treatment plans and self-exercises for home continuation.
    • Stay updated with current research and incorporate it into daily treatments.
    • Demonstrate flexibility with work schedules and participate in departmental promotional activities.
    • Supervise assistants, aides, and students in providing care and treatment.
    • Provide ongoing education and training to peers in your areas of expertise.

    Qualifications

    • Must hold appropriate education as per state licensure requirements.
    • Valid license as a Physical Therapist in the state(s) of practice.
    • Valid driver's license may be required.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers is required within the first 60 days of employment.
