    Description

    Clinica Sierra Vista is excited to be one of the largest Federally Qualified Health Centers in the NationWe're honored to serve the men and women of the fields.

    We also offer care and support to the inner city, the rural and isolated, those of low, moderate, and fixed incomes, and families from an array of cultural backgrounds who speak several languages.

    Sign-on bonus of up to $75,000 or Mortgage Subsidy up to $75,000

    Is responsible for providing medical services for the patients of Clinica Sierra Vista and includes the following: Patient evaluation, which should include: histories both brief (interval) and more thorough, histories on children, adults and the elderly.

    Develop diagnoses or differential diagnoses appropriate to patients' complaints. Patient problem confirmation and testing including the (ordering of laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic measure).

    Participate in the performance of the necessary diagnostic maneuvers such as anoscopy examination, pelvic examination and pap smears, electrocardiography, chest x-ray interpretation and the ability to draw venous blood when needed.

    Counseling patients with respect to the meaning of health problems, the usefulness and rationales of laboratory and X-ray tests and the essentiality of preventative and therapeutic steps.

    Suggest and help to implement referrals when indicated.
    All of the above activities are done in collaboration with Clinica's physicians per privileges granted.

    Participates in clinical activities in all clinic sites on a scheduled basis, in the same fashion as do physicians.

    Graduate of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant Program.
    National certification in his/her primary care specialty.
    Has had practical experience of at least two years in primary care.
