Job Description
The role of the SAP SD/MM Functional Analyst provides strong technical expertise and performs analysis, solution development, configuration, and deployment of enhancements and user exits in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) modules.
The candidate in this role must fully be conversant and competent in configuration of the following IMG core modules and the requisite sub-modules: Enterprise Structure, Logistics General, Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, Logistics Execution and Business Partners.
This role will work the Business as well as other IT colleagues to review requirements for future enhancements as well as trouble shooting and resolving issues on time and with high quality.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Configure ECC and S/4HANA listed modules and requisite sub-modules based on business and process requirements.
Recommend process improvements and solutions to achieve project goals.
Provide technical and functional guidance to other IT colleagues.
Provide high quality customer support throughout any task or project.
Undertake issue analysis and perform necessary remediation or new functional implementation in a timely manner.
Collaborate with business user, other functional colleagues and other personnel to develop dynamic and flexible systems to meet the emerging demands of the market.
Assist in unit testing of requested changes.
Able to write simple ABAP statements for: pricing requirements, pricing calculation formulas, data transfer routines, output requirements, user exits, and enhancements, and queries (see attached examples).
Create LSMW s and LTMC s as needed for creation/maintenance of transactional and master data. Able to write simple code in LSMWs to fetch and/or derive values.
Develop info-set queries and other required reports as needed by the business. Must be able to write simple ABAP statements inside query info-sets.
Solid understanding of user exits /enhancements and how they are deployed.
Must be able to configure LIS/SIS databases/reporting tools for MCSI reports.
Solid understanding of the S/4 Hana business partner functionality
Develop technical specification and estimations for assigned projects.
Work in compliance with the programming and documentation standards.
Ensure project completion within the allotted timelines and budget.

Material batches
Serial numbers
Material master configuration
Purchasing
Inventory Management
Demand forecasting
MRP maintenance
EAN numbers
Material classification
Job Qualifications:
Degrees and experience
Bachelor s degree in computer science or a related field
Minimum of 7 to 10 years of SD/MM experience
SAP ECC Experience is required
SAP S/4 HANA experience is required
Business skills
