Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes with precision and efficiency, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and safety guidelines
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols
- Collaborate with team members to manage multiple orders efficiently during busy service periods
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking or ordering supplies
- Follow all health regulations related to food handling, storage, and preparation to ensure guest safety
- Support menu planning efforts by providing input on dish presentation and ingredient quality when needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen setting, preferably with restaurant or fine dining experience
- Strong culinary skills with proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and knife skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience working in the food industry or catering environments is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
