- 13-week contract with guaranteed 36 hours per week
- 12-hour variable day/night shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility location
- Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units
- Subject to low census and on-call status with 2-hour minimum call back pay
- Minimum 2+ years experience required with Stepdown/Intermediate/PCU experience mandatory
- ICU experience preferred, Trauma Level II preferred
- Ventilator/Trach experience required
- At least 1 prior travel experience required
- EPIC charting experience preferred
- Work in 36-bed Medical Surgical Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry
- Care for patients with stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleeds, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
- Manage primary patients and insulin drips with 4:1 patient ratio
- Fast-paced environment requiring independent work and timely task completion
- Any color scrubs permitted
- Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
- Contract ends on Sunday rather than Saturday
