POSITION OVERVIEW (Director of Strategy):

The Director of Data Strategy will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the school's data strategy to enhance decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and support strategic initiatives. This leadership position will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of data governance, analytics, and reporting processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES (Director of Strategy):

• Develop and Implement Data Strategy:
  • Formulate and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the school's mission and objectives.
  • Establish data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.
• Data Analytics and Reporting:
  • Lead the design and implementation of data analytics and reporting systems to provide timely and relevant insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify key performance indicators and develop dashboards for tracking and reporting.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with academic and administrative departments to understand their data needs and provide strategic guidance.
  • Communicate data-driven insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Team Leadership:
  • Build and lead a high-performing data strategy team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.

QUALIFICATIONS (Director of Strategy):

• Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience (minimum of 7 years) in a leadership role focused on data strategy, analytics, and reporting.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Experience working in an educational setting is a plus.
