Description

Our client located in Wilmington, MA is seeking an experiened CNC Programmer/Operator. EXTENSIVE programming experience is required. Operating CNC Swiss machines with 4-5 years experience. Pay is based on experience-$30-$44hr Basic requirements: · Program, Setup and operate Swiss type CNC machines

· Basic understanding and interpretation of blueprints/customer drawings/sketches

· Calculate dimensions/tolerances using knowledge in mathematics and corresponding measuring tools

· Monitoring machine progress, changing cutting tools and making offsets

· Inspect precision work

· Basic preventive machine maintenance.

· Work and communicate well with management and co-workers

· Must have great attention to detail

· Must be able to work independently without constant supervision

Qualifications/Skills Required: Must be proficient in the use of all the normal hand tools for machinists including micrometers, optical comparators, calipers, microscopes and other measuring equipment. Please email an updated resume to today to apply

Responsibilities

· Program, Setup and operate Swiss type CNC machines
