    Key Responsibilities:

    • Execute and develop business plans to support existing and future accounts.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Operations, Finance, etc.) to deliver strategic plans and tactical priorities, and to achieve unified goals.
    • Oversee, maintain, and develop existing business for the Cabot Creamery Cooperative, but not necessarily limited to the defined territory.
    • Analyze territory and monitor performance results.
    • Understand and utilize business analysis reports to achieve growth and greater margins.
    • Work closely with distributor sales specialists to develop, penetrate, and grow food service accounts.
    • Develop and implement programs for multi-unit groups.
    • Work alongside brokers on developing new business and continuing to promote Cabot Creamerys award-winning product lines.
    • Participate in Regional / National trade and industry events.
    • Communicate trends / pricing issues as it relates to sales and products.
    • Travel (approximately 30%) 3-4 days / week is required, either with broker reps to make account sales calls to existing food service distributor bases, or with distributor sales reps to make sales calls to end user accounts.
    • This position is not defined as being Monday
    Friday 8 to 5. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required to meet business needs.

    • This is a salaried, bonus-eligible position, with a company car provided.

    Preferred
    Bachelors or better.

    Experience

    Required

    7 years: Minimum of seven (7) years experience, with a dairy / perishable background preferred.

    Ideal candidate has previous key account experience managing numerous accounts in multiple states, good knowledge of national accounts, and effective negotiation skills.

    Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and organization skills are required, as well as solid leadership, management and problem-solving skills.

    Ideal candidate is creative and innovative, self-directed, highly motivated, has a strong attention to detail, is an open-minded and independent thinker, and has a positive can-do attitude.

    Comfort level working on computers and with various applications and programs, to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with Power BI and Exceedra is a plus.

    A confident individual with a strong presence capable of presenting ideas in a clear and compelling manner, and with a management style that is effective in a team-oriented environment.

    Preferred
    Bachelors degree is required but will consider a combination of an Associate degree and related work experience.
