    Description

    The Ortho PA practices under the supervising surgeon in Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Practice to evaluate patients in the office setting including minor office procedures and injections, first assist in the OR and, in some instances, perform orthopaedic care in the Emergency Department.

    Working directly 1:1 with a surgeon, Physician Assistants will participate in a four-month rotation as to matriculate through all surgeons and case mixes.

    Two years of PA experience in a primary care practice, or a relevant specialty practice preferred
    Certifications as an adult or family Physician Assistant by a national organization, which is recognized by the Vermont State Board of Medical Practice
    Healthcare Provider CPR certification
