RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Performs diagnostic and therapeutic NuclearMedicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to allProtocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A.programs. Performs all quality control procedures in accordancewith manufacturer, state and federal guidelines. Demonstratesability to perform advance imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and iscompetent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology.Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identifiedpatient needs.
Qualifications:
MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED:

• Graduateof a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint ReviewCommittee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology(JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board(NMTCB).

MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:

• Four (4) years ofexperience.

MINIMUMLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BYLAW:

• Either CNMT or NMTCBregistered.

ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:

• BLSCertified.
• Possesses a thorough knowledge ofradiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals as needed toperform and process Nuclear Medicineexaminations.
