- Deliver and restore dies to and from work center based on daily schedules
- Assist loading and unloading dies from presses
- Keep die storage area clean and organized keeping tools identified
- Deliver dies to and from tool room
- Deliver cartons and skids to work centers
- Empty scrap luggars and performs miscellaneous tasks as required
- Move product from one operation to another or to hold area as well as perform move transactions in the system
- Deliver hot orders from machines to shipping designated areas
- Remove trash, cardboard, and scrap metal for work areas and dump in designated areas
- Keep aisle clean, and clear
- Assist in maintaining carton inventory and ordering cartons
- Keep the partials area organized and deliver partial boxes to the wash machine as required
- Other duties as assigned or required
- Highly motivated self starter
- Requires 6-12 months of relevant manufacturing experience
- Good organizational skills, basic reading & writing skills
- Regular attendance is required; punctual, dependable
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions
- Strong customer focus & friendly attitude
- Interpersonal skills
- Computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook experience
- Regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle or touch objects, tools, or controls
- Vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision & depth perception
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Certified to operate a forklift

Description
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Material Handler transports tooling and product to and from work centers or designated areas. Operates a forklift, electrical hoist or other power driven equipment to load or move materials. Supplies needed materials, other than raw material, from inventory to the production areas.
