    Sales Account Manager

    We are actively seeking a Sales Account Manager based in the Indianapolis market who will report to the Sales/Division Manager.

    • The Sales Account Manager will sell manufacturing automation machinery to a manufacturing clients across a variety of industries.
    • We are looking for a hunter, someone who loves to sell and solve problems and has proven they can further develop an existing book of business.
    • This position requires all aspects of the sales process. Therefore, one must have a track record of finding, qualifying and closing business and be used to selling to the Management or C-level in the Industrial or Corporate environment.

    Requirements

    • You must have prior success selling custom engineered solutions in a competitive market.
    • Experience in selling manufacturing machinery and automation is helpful but not required. Experience with large accounts and selling turn-key manufacturing solutions is a bonus.

    One must also:

    • Be used to high levels of activity and managing a full calendar of meetings and prospecting.
    • Sell consultatively and not on price.
    • Be humble in their approach, yet relentless in their efforts to achieve their goals.
    • Have a technical mindset and enjoy the thrill of complex/technical transactions.
    • Have the ability to absorb information around a vast line of services and technology.
    • Be effective at creating new opportunities and understand the importance of finding new business.
    • Be willing and able to follow a proven sales process.
    • Use technology to their advantage.
    • Have strong levels of responsibility and be highly coachable and trainable.

    This role will be paid base salary plus commission.
