We are currently seeking paraprofessionals to join school districts in the Westminster, VT area. The ideal candidates will meet all local and state requirements, which will be detailed below. This is a full-time position with the opportunity for renewal based on performance for the next school year.

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with instructional activities and classroom management.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as directed by the teacher.
• Assist with preparing instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
• Support students with special needs, including but not limited to behavioral, academic, or physical challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other staff to support student learning and success.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred.
• Ability to meet all local and state requirements, including background checks, fingerprinting, and any necessary certifications.
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
