We are looking for an enthusiastic Cook Helper to help us reach our goals.Unlock your potential Job Summary and Qualifications As a Cook Helper at our facility you will have the opportunity to be both a nutrition professional and a caregiver, providing delicious and nutritious meals for patients, staff, and others when they need it most.
You will be joining a hard-working and compassionate team that is so vital for the day-to-day functions of our hospital.
In this role:
+ You will prepare food for patients, visitors, and employees in a manner that ensures high customer satisfaction and in compliance with hospital and regulatory requirements. + You will assist the Cook in performing a variety of skilled tasks in food preparation, cooking, and presentation. + You will assist the Cook in ensuring adequate inventory and stocking of food and related supplies to meet day-to-day needs. + You will help to manage/maintain the cleanliness of the department through the completion of regular safety and sanitation tasks. + You will ensure client, customer service/satisfaction by modeling efficient, friendly service and promoting that behavior in other staff members. + You will complete ongoing mandatory education regarding infection control, patient safety, quality improvement, and food safety standards.
What qualifications you will need:
+ Food Handlers Permit or ServSafe Certification required. + Hospital food preparation experience and cooking for modified diets experience preferred. + Current Driver's License.
