    We are looking for a Global Advanced Analytics Data Scientist


    Lead who is agile, innovative and has good communication skills to join our Advanced Analytics team, based in our headquarters in Brussels , Belgium or in our office in Atlanta , United States .

    About the role

    The Global Advanced Analytics Data Scientist Lead will lead projects to deliver data-driven actionable insights that create high impact patient value.

    He/she drives evidence-based decision-making, utilizing secondary data and advanced analytics to reduce reliance on primary data. Responsibilities include project management, implementation of advanced analytics/AI, and ensuring ongoing operational effectiveness.

    As a subject matter expert, the role integrates primary market research with data analytics to drive proactive predictive analytics and enable future organizational decisions.

    Ultimately, the role aims to advance the company's vision through actionable insights and successful launches.
    Who you'll work with

    You will collaborate closely with multiple functional stakeholders (e.g., R&D, Supply China, Finance, etc.), IT, Data Office, and other Analytics teams to co-create plans and priorities for data and advanced analytics, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

    What you'll do
    Understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions and insights
    Utilize advanced analytics/AI to generate actionable insights with maximal impact
    Coordinate with business and IT partners to operationalize successful experiments into production
    Ideate, shape, manage, and deliver assigned portfolio of advanced analytics projects
    Keep up-to-date on leading edge advanced analytics and machine learning techniques
    Deliver effective recommendations through visual displays of quantitative and qualitative information
    Interested? For this role we're looking for the following education, experience and skills
    Minimum 10 years of experience developing program/project plans and leading programs/projects in Pharma or Biotech industries
    Experiences of working with and curating large datasets such as EMR, claims, and other forms of patient data
    Proven experience with predictive modeling techniques such as Machine Learning, decision trees, ensemble learning, neural networks, etc.,
    Experiences of patient analytics to improve the efficiency of clinical operation or to facilitate the product pipeline decision are preferred
    Proficiency in Python or R for programming and application development
    Experience with large-scale data analytics engines and cloud environments
    Preferred experience with NLP models to analyze unstructured data such as clinician notes
    Strong problem-solving skills, project management skills, and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
