    Plant Supervisor JOS202- NC

    Starting base salary:
    $6- 68K

    Summary

    In order to assure a prompt supply of high-quality parts, the role coordinates work with machinists, engineers, and management.

    It serves as the hub of all machining operations inside the organization.

    Responsibilities

    • In charge of training new hires and supervising existing staff
    • Ensure the effectiveness, security, and upkeep of the machine shop.
    • Enable good communication between the production department and other divisions.
    • Independently able to set up, operate, and troubleshoot Beam Saws, Edge Banders, and CNC routers.
    • In responsibility for reducing setup and machining times throughout the whole shop by streamlining operations.
    • Examine completed work using instruments like calipers, height gauges, micrometers, rulers, etc. to ensure that it complies with specifications.
    • Explaining job requirements to staff, assigning tasks, instructing them on machine shop operations, and designing, overseeing, and upholding regulations and procedures.
    • Expertise managing workflow, safety, employees, and equipment; at least three to five years of supervisory experience with CNC routers, edge banders, and beam saws, as well as component inspection in a prototype and job shop setting.
    Requirements

    • Great communication abilities in both writing and speaking, as well as a thorough understanding of the significance of completing assignments on time.
    • Practical experience with beam saws, edge banders, and CNC machining, and able to decipher technical drawings and designs.
    • A thorough attention to detail, knowledge of camera and cabinet vision software, and preferred forklift certification.
    • Comprehensive understanding of CNC's equipment, tools, materials, processes, and best practices
    • 3 to 5 years of management or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Capable of cooperating with coworkers and working in a team as well as alone.
    • Must be able to adjust to changing work demands and needs.
