    POSITION SUMMARY

    Seeking aCivil Engineer IIto support the firms progressive and dynamic civil and environmental engineering team.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Review structural documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines
    • Write and edit structural specifications
    • Select procedures and materials, and their respective sizes
    • Independently coordinate the work of the structural design team through the design development and contract document phases of a project
    • Establish meetings and participate in reviews with various agencies for code compliance
    • Conduct design development and contract document work sessions at the project site in conjunction with the Project Manager and other disciplines
    • Coordinate workload through design development and construction document phases to complete the documents on schedule
    • Coordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs and change orders, and take responsibility to incorporate agreed-upon changes into the project documents

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

    • 3-6+ years of post graduate professional experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
    • Structural analysis and design skills.
    • Solid professional structural engineering experience related to a variety of projects and industries
    • Experience preparing, reviewing and approving project drawings, specifications, schedules and cost estimates.
    • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail, and strong written and oral communication skills
    • Experience with tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Staad Pro etc.

    DESIRED ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE

    • PE/SE registration is highly preferred, or the intention to complete registration
