- 5+ years' experience working as a Data Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or Business Analyst experience in a Data Warehouse project environment
- 5+ years' experience working with end users/customers to understand system and business issues and perform technical analysis to understand and develop requirements and solutions
- 5+ years' experience with SQL; Teradata SQL Assistant, MS SQL Server including:
- Experience in teams that support applications that have their source as a Data warehouse.
- Understanding of data visualization-reporting tools
- 3+ years' experience developing test data and test scenarios
- Ability to facilitate customer requirements gathering meetings/sessions
- Must be able to work independently and not rely on State or other team members
- Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with programmers, analysts, immediate supervisor, management, system users, operations, other State agencies and the private sector.
- Experience with leading project work, providing direction for team members
- Experience with Data Modeling/Database Design
- Experience with Court applications or relevant court experience
- Experience with JAD and Agile IT Development methodologies
- Ability to clearly communicate with users for clarification and elaboration as may be necessary to clearly define a problem and conceptualize a development plan.
- Recognize, gather, correlate, and analyze facts, draw conclusions, define problems, and devise solutions and alternatives and make appropriate recommendations.
- Working with developers, facilitate modification of the logical design to create a physical design most suited to the reporting needs of the customer.
- Ability to design applications taking into consideration data reconciliation, (to the source system) query/reporting performance, and analytical business value.
