Summary
Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records. Pharmacy technicians work only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. They do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist.

Education and Experience
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Licenses, Certifications
Required: Current pharmacy technician certification in the State of California.
Preferred: Current pharmacy technician certification in the State of Nevada.
Other Experience/Qualifications
2-3 years pharmacy technician experience
