    Element6's client in Rockton, IL is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join their finance team and play a crucial role in driving financial insights and decision-making.

    Position Overview: The Financial Analyst will be responsible for conducting in-depth financial analysis, developing forecasts, and providing strategic recommendations to senior management. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex financial data to support business objectives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform financial modeling and analysis to support strategic initiatives and business planning decisions.
    • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and trend identification.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial data and insights for budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
    • Assist in the development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as requested by management.
    • Evaluate financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
    • Assist in the preparation of presentations and materials for executive meetings.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in financial analysis and reporting.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree or CPA designation is a plus.
    • 2+ years of experience in public accounting, financial analysis, or corporate finance.
    • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
    • Advanced Excel skills; experience with MS Power Platform, ERP systems (e.g., Infor CSI, CyberQuery), and consolidation software (e.g., OneStream, Hyperion Financial Management) is preferred.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
